Grateful for your partnership and support

November 25, 2025

As we gather with family and friends this Thanksgiving, we’re reflecting on a year defined by resilience and growth. We began this year in darkness, but channeled our despair into action, and it made a difference. As we end the year, we’re grateful for your partnership and support, which helped to grow JDCA’s community and made our advocacy efforts more impactful than ever before.

Faced with the rising tide of authoritarianism, we stood up and spoke out, and we’re grateful that you answered our calls to action and joined our advocacy efforts in record numbers. When presented with opportunities to bring this fight to the ballot box, we focused on four statewide elections in 2025 where we could make the biggest impact defending democracy, and we won.

Your engagement with JDCA made a difference, and we’re grateful.

We helped power Democratic victories. With your help, 100% of our endorsed candidates won their elections. Together, we got out the vote in New Jersey, Virginia, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin, electing Democratic governors who share our values and maintaining control of state supreme courts. JDCA volunteers completed more than 750 volunteer shifts and made more than 81,000 direct voter contacts, we hosted 50 phone banks, and JDCA PAC’s ads were seen over 3.2 million times.

We advocated for policies and defended our values. JDCA activists answered our calls to action with more than 100,000 engagements, including tens of thousands of letters sent to members of Congress, over 19,000 signatures gathered to support the swearing-in of Rep. Adelita Grijalva, and over 13,000 signatures demanding support of security funding for Jewish institutions. We engaged hundreds of members of Congress on issues of importance to Jewish Americans, and hundreds of you joined our Week of Action with 48 Hill meetings.

We came together as a community. JDCA hosted 174 programs and events with more than 15,500 attendees, including thousands of new participants. Whether through our monthly Defend Your Values organizing events, virtual programming with elected officials and policy experts, in-person events across the country, or grassroots training sessions, you helped us grow and strengthen our community this year.

We elevated JDCA’s voice. This year brought more than 5 million impressions across JDCA’s social media platforms and increased press coverage, including in The New York Times, Washington Post, Reuters, USA Today, Politico, The Hill, NBC News, and major Jewish press outlets. We also launched a JDCA Substack to deliver weekly analysis of current events. We have even bigger plans for 2026, so continue to follow JDCA and engage with us wherever you get your news.

We couldn’t have achieved this success without you, and we have more important work to do in the year ahead.

As we look to the 2026 midterm elections, the stakes couldn’t be higher for our community and for our democracy. We’re entering this election year stronger than ever, and we’re ready to flip the House from red to blue and win key Senate seats to defend our values. We’re preparing for 2026, and we want you all to be a part of it.

This Thanksgiving, we’re grateful to you for your partnership, and we hope you will continue to support JDCA now and in the year ahead so we can do even more and make an even larger impact in 2026.

Wishing you and your loved ones a meaningful Thanksgiving.

Thank you,
